Shreedhar Dubey is an Indian actor, casting director, and writer. In December 2022, he portrayed the role of the Indian educator Alakh Pandey (Physics Wallah) in the Amazon Mini TV’s web series ‘Physics Wallah.’
Shreedhar Dubey also spelt as Shree Dhar Dubey or Shriidhar Dubey  was born in Banaras (now Varanasi), Uttar Pradesh. His parents hail from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, he did his schooling at BSNV Inter College, (intermediate) and Ramadhin Singh Inter College (high school). In school, he used to love studying Hindi and Sanskrit subjects. He then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Jai Narain Misra Post Graduate (KKC) College, Lucknow.   In graduation, he was a part of the NCC and NSS camps. As a part of the NSS camp, he participated in various nukkad nataks. In 2001, he did an acting workshop for a month at the drama school Bhartendu Natya Academy. He then performed in various theatre plays. In an interview, he shared how he started performing in plays. He said,
I studied in Ramadhin Singh Inter College, KKC, KKV and Lucknow University. I obtained a NCC C-certificate as I wanted to join the army but could not. During a R-Day camp, I was impressed by a talented cadet, Neeraj, and he suggested that I join theatre. So, I reached Bhartendu Natya Academy (2001) for a workshop and that changed my life.”

His father used to work at Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, Uttar Pradesh. He has a sister named Vandana Shukla, and a brother named Satyendra Dubey.
As of 2022, he is not married.
In 2015, he started his career as a casting associate with the Hindi film ‘Masaan.’ He then worked as a casting associate in a few Hindi films like ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ (2015), ‘Half Girlfriend (2017), ‘Raag Desh’ (2017), ‘Ghoomketu’ (2020), and ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ (2020).
Shreedhar made his debut as a casting director with the 2017 Hindi film ‘Mukkabaaz.’ In 2018, he worked as a casting director in the Hindi film ‘Genius.’ As a casting director, he has also worked in a few Hindi short films like ‘Bebaak’ (2019) and ‘Token’ (2019).
In 2012, he made his acting debut with the Hindi film ‘Shudra: The Rising’ as Badri.
In the same year, he acted in the Hindi film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ in which he played the role of Riyaz. He has played supporting roles in many Hindi films like ‘Mukkabaaz’ (2017), ‘Half Girlfriend’ (2017), ‘Sonchiriya’ (2019), ‘Yaara’ (2020), ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ (2020), and ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’ (2021).
He has also acted in a few Hindi short films such as ‘Juice’ (2017), ’10x10ft’ (2018), ‘Welcome To Mumbai’ (2021), and ‘Family’ (2022).
In 2019, he made his web series debut with the Hindi Netflix web series ‘Sacred Games’ in which he played the role of Babuji.
Some of his other Hindi web series are ‘Rangbaaz’ (2019), ‘Paatal Lok’ (2020), ‘Grahan’ (2021), ‘Dr. Arora’ (2022), and ‘Physics Wallah’ (2022).
He has also appeared in a few episodes of the Sony TV series ‘Crime Patrol.’ Shreedhar has been featured in TV commercials for various brands like Paytm, SBI Life Insurance, Pamper, Muthoot Finance, and Revital.
